About this role

Writer is hiring a Sales Development Representative — an entry-level SaaS sales role. This is a remote role open to candidates in United States (Remote).

What you'll do

  • ›Build pipeline from ideal customer profile (ICP) accounts by reaching out thoughtfully and creatively to engage target personas
  • ›Find inventive ways to connect with prospects and potential buyers who fit our ICP
  • ›Continuously look for opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve processes for greater efficiency
  • ›Research key accounts' initiatives to develop a compelling "hypothesis of value"
  • ›Set meetings for the Sales team once a lead reaches a qualified stage
  • ›Strategize and execute multi-touch, account-based campaigns in partnership with Marketing and Sales
  • ›…and yes, maintain accurate information in Salesforce so we can scale what works!

What you'll need

  • ›2+ years of experience in a sales development role at a SaaS company
  • ›A proven track record of exceeding outbound pipeline generation goals in a B2B SaaS startup environment
  • ›Genuinely excellent written communication skills—everyone says that, but we sell to great writers, so we mean it. Poorly written emails aren't a good look.
  • ›A self-starter with an experimental mindset—there's no playbook yet, so we need your help building it!
